DRIVER is web application designed to view, collect, and analyze road incident data in the Philippines, particularly traffic incidents, disruptions, and crimes. The application provides data viewing and entry tools such as graph and map interfaces, custom report and filter tools, multiple concurrent user editing, and data exports.
User Types & Roles
There are three different types of users on the DRIVER website, each with a designated role.
Public Viewers may view data on DRIVER, but with limitations (i.e. they may not access vehicle plate numbers and names of persons involved incidents, etc).
Analysts may enter, edit, and export data.
Administrators have login capabilities to the database and design editor of the software, and can modify the structure of the DRIVER database.
The DRIVER website can be accessed by going to http://roadsafety.gov.ph. If a user has an account with a supported provider (e.g. Google), they may enter the DRIVER website by clicking on the “Log in with Google’” button, and selecting or inputting their login details.
If needed, admin users may also grant login access to other user types by providing other users with their own login details.
